Oh My! Shepherd’s Pie

Description:

Another classic family dinner that is also comfort food at its best!  This is one of our oven-to-table meals to make meal-time easy at the end of the day!  Lean ground beef, celery, onions, and spices and seasonings are topped with a creamy mixture of mashed potatoes and cheddar cheese.

Cooking time: 45-60 minutes 

Cooking method: Oven

Cooking Instructions

 "the winehouse" Suggests: Arrogant Frog Ribet Red or Sterling Sauvignon Blanc  

1. Thaw completely in the refrigerator for at least 24 hrs.  This meal may need more time to thaw.

2. Preheat oven to 375°F.

3. Place Sheppard’s Pie in the centre of the oven and cook for 30 minutes covered.

4.Remove lid and cook for an additional 15-30 minutes until top is golden brown and centre is hot.

5. Remove from oven and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes.

6. Scoop out generous potions.
