Brown Butter and Sage Tossed Cheese Tortellini

Description:

This is not only a delicious pasta, but it’s a delectable meatless dish!   Your choice of fine-dining mushroom-stuffed ravioli or family friendly cheese-stuffed tortellini is tossed in a flavourful combination of butter, sage, and parmesan cheese.

Cooking time: 20 minutes 

Cooking method: Stovetop

Cooking Instructions

We recommend keeping the pasta frozen until ready to cook.

1.Bring 8 cups of water to a boil (4 cups for half orders) over high heat.  Add the pasta to the water and boil for about 12 minutes until pasta is tender.   Do not overcook as pasta will fall apart.

2. Meanwhile, add the butter (not the liquid) to a small skillet over medium high heat.  Melt the butter and allow it to brown for 3-4 minutes.  Add the spices and the liquid from the butter bag to the skillet.

3. Place the cooked pasta in a serving bowl and toss with the butter and the parmesan cheese.

4. And your supper is ready! Enjoy!
